Heading into year two of their rebuild, these are the most pressing concerns that the Atlanta Hawks will face in the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Prior to the 2017-18 season, the Atlanta Hawks front office had had enough of perpetual mediocrity and decided to strip down the roster. The end result was a 24-58 record — the worst mark in the Eastern Conference — and the third overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

General manager Travis Schlenk and the rest of the Atlanta management team continued the teardown by trading point guard Dennis Schroder last July. Now, only Kent Bazemore remains as the only holdover from that 60-win team that reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2015 (and he could be on the way out too).

The Hawks will have one of the youngest rosters in the NBA this year and with that will come some growing pains. They will have nights where they look like a legitimate playoff team, but those will likely be outnumbered by the number of games where they look like the lottery team they project to be.

So what should Hawks fans be on the lookout for this year? Well, that’s what we’re here to find out.
