7. Zhaire Smith

Despite Zhaire Smith’s current ankle injury, he showed flashes this summer as to why he is one of the 76ers’ best, and most unpredictable young assets.

The 19-year-old rookie is arguably the most athletic prospect selected in the 2018 NBA Draft, but it’s his enormous ceiling that could eventually distinguish him from the class.

Though his offensive craft is still in the works, his potential as a lockdown defender in the league is really heightening his value. His 6’9″ wingspan combined with his 45-inch vertical should wreak havoc on opponents in the foreseeable future.

Only time will tell what kind of role Smith could undertake when he is activated back into the lineup. Rest assured, Brett Brown has big plans ahead for the talented young star.
