Philadelphia 76ers: Ranking the value of each current player

3. Markelle Fultz
Markelle Fultz should carry a massive chip on his shoulder as he enters the 2018-19 season.
There is no question about it, this is a make-or-break year for the former No. 1 overall pick. He averaged 7.1 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.1 rebounds in 18 minutes per game last season — a pretty adequate showing in a measly 14 games played, but certainly not thrilling numbers for a player of his caliber or a No. 1 overall draft pick.
Fultz has worked closely with trainer Drew Hanlen this offseason. While they’ve kept the details of their workouts mildly discreet, it seems that Fultz could be on the way to having his breakout campaign in his second season.
The 20-year-old combo guard should be granted with lavish opportunities this year to surmount the pressure and prove that he still has star potential.
