As the countdown to NBA training camp begins, we take a look at each player on the Philadelphia 76ers’ roster and their way-too-early rankings.

After a more than unexpected summer, the Philadelphia 76ers wrap up the month of August with a total of 18 players on the roster. Although it is still uncertain which of those will make the final 15-man list, one could argue that there will be plenty of competition leading up to the regular season between those individuals who currently sit on the fence.

In a highly anticipated offseason for the Sixers, they came out of the 2018 NBA Draft with a few bright prospects, augmenting the roster’s talented depth.

The organization proceeded toward the free agency period, only to stagger before marking off what was presumed to be the top priority on the checklist for this offseason — locking down the long-awaited superstar that was previously promised.

Although the front office left a little to be desired, it was able to fill some of the valuable veteran gaps in the roster with the fresh acquisitions of Wilson Chandler and Mike Muscala.

Philly will now postpone its star search to the 2019 offseason, as it will hold $40.6 million in practical cap space, per Spotrac. Until that time, however, the team must remain focused on the scatter of talent it currently has throughout the roster.

Here are the 76ers’ overall player rankings with only a month remaining until the start of training camp.
