Last season

Jahlil Okafor appeared in just two games for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2017-18 before the organization traded him away. He was moved with Nik Stauskas and a 2019 second round draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets for Trevor Booker on Dec. 30.

His numbers have changed drastically since he tore the meniscus in his left knee back during his rookie season in 2015-16.  As a rookie back in 2015-16, Okafor was putting up 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest. He fell out of favor in the rotation in Philadelphia when Joel Embiid arrived.

In Brooklyn, Okafor’s numbers went up slightly, although he played sparingly. Through 26 appearances with the Nets, he put up 6.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per contest. He did manage to shoot 56.6 percent from the field, but the biggest concern that remains is his defense.
