The Cleveland Cavaliers are set for their post-LeBron James era to begin. Some of the players, though, might be doomed to fail in this new system.
Having one of the greatest players of all time on your team makes things pretty easy. You give him the ball, get out of the way and be ready for an open shot from behind the arc. This has been the bread and butter for the Cleveland Cavaliers throughout the last four seasons.
As a result, the front office tried its best to surround LeBron James with prolific shooters, more catch-and-shoot players rather than shot creators.
LeBron has helped countless players during his 15-year NBA career, evolving them from role players to stars. Some players, though, seem to struggle without LeBron, as became LeBron-dependent.
No LeBron means more chances for the rest of the guys, chances they wouldn’t have even dreamed of last season. But not everybody will be able to capitalize on those extra chances. Here are three Cavaliers set to underperform in the upcoming 2018-19 season.
