- Reason for ranking: Cool players playing, small markets
Two of the smallest markets in the NBA get a game on paid cable at the end of November. The Trail Blazers have one of the best guard lineups in the NBA, while the Magic have one of the worst.
The biggest worry is that Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum go off on the Magic’s guards and make their lack of depth apparent. This could be one of the first true tests that this guard lineup faces and it could be a bloodbath.
This is a fun game based on who is playing on the floor, but it’s two random, mismatched NBA teams playing an early season game. Not a whole lot of excitement to be seen here. (Watch Aaron Gordon drop 50 and this game go triple OT. Remember these are just predictions, people.)
