Overall

The New York Knicks made a lot of changes in the past two years and it looks like they are finally moving in the right direction. The hiring of Fizdale and smart personnel decisions like drafting Knox and Mitchell have fans excited for the future. The table is set for a free agency splash in 2019 and the amount of one-year deals and expiring contracts will be intriguing to keep an eye on as the year goes on.

Though the offseason was a good one for the Knicks, the rebuild is still on and the struggles will probably continue this season, but at least they have valuable young players to watch and look forward to. After the lackluster offseason for New York in 2017, this should be a sign that good times are ahead in the Big Apple.

With the injury to Porzingis keeping him out for the foreseeable future, the Knicks, with another high draft pick next year, could be looking at tons of cap space and young players to woo players like Jimmy Butler or Kyrie Irving.
