After a season filled with injuries and  disappointment, the New York Knicks had one of the best offseasons in the NBA. How should they be graded on the moves they made?

Head coach Jeff Hornacek was relied of his duties in April and the New York Knicks hired longtime Miami Heat assistant coach and former Memphis Grizzles head coach Dave Fizdale to lead the team in a move that was celebrated by most fans.

Unlike last season, the Knicks had a pretty good offseason as they avoided signing players to big contracts and had a more than solid draft night.

Between the new coaching hire, the 2018 NBA Draft and free agency, the Knicks had a respectable summer and despite Kristaps Porzingis‘ injury to start the upcoming season, the optimism from New York fans is at an all-time high with the pending 2019 free agency class coming next year.

Breaking down each individual move of the offseason, we will see if the grades match the excitement fans have at the moment.
