3. Kyle Kuzma

Much like Ingram, we haven’t heard too much from Kyle Kuzma this offseason. There was no Summer League for him after exceeding expectations as a rookie, which means he’s been grinding away preparing for what could be a big sophomore campaign.

In fact, based on some of things we’ve been hearing, Kuzma is quietly preparing for a huge year with the Lakers. He’s already gotten workout tips from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and was tearing up the Drew League. Okay, so maybe we just haven’t heard much drama surrounding Kuzma this offseason.

There’s always going to be that trade speculation when it comes to the Lakers. I’m sure every one of the “young core” has heard it at some point in the last few months. For the time being, though, Kuzma is focused on improving and preparing for life alongside LeBron.

By what we can tell, all is well in Kuzma’s world. Personally, I’m a bit concerned he could hit his ceiling this season unless we see a big change from him on defense. Other than that, though, I’d imagine this will be another strong year for the guy who the rest of the NBA overlooked.

Nothing negative going on for Kuzma, so No. 3 it is.
