Final grade

If we were to judge Bojan Bogdanovic in a vacuum, his final grade might not look too good.

After four years, Bogdanovic has solidified his identity as a step above a one-trick pony. While a lot 3-point specialists can only do that, he is more reliable to play some defense and shows that he has a nice basketball IQ.

Bojan has proven his place among the other catch-and-shoot 3-point specialists in the league, but his streakiness can be a liability if this Pacer team wants to legitimately threaten the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers or Toronto Raptors atop the Eastern Conference ladder.

Having said all of that, looking at his role and what the Pacers are likely going to ask him to do next season, he is more than capable of being that guy.

He has illustrated that, and if guys like Evans and McDermott can thrive in the Pacers system, there will be no need to play Bogdanovic 37 minutes on a cold shooting night.

With all of the ups and downs, the truth is the Pacers have a nice, consistent piece in Bojan Bogdanovic, and he will hopefully take another small yet meaningful step forward as a key role player in the 2018-19 campaign.
