Golden State Warriors: Top 3 games to watch in 2018-19
By Tony Pesta
2. Nov. 15, 2018 at Houston Rockets (TNT)
This will be the first matchup between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors since Game 7 of the 2018 Western Conference Finals. Of course, the Warriors ended up winning that game in shocking fashion, as the Rockets missed an NBA record 27 consecutive 3-pointers at one point.
Needless to say, Houston feels as if it has something to prove in this game. The Rockets are desperate for a chance at revenge. Every member of the Rockets believes they should have won that conference finals series.
In particular, superstar point guard Chris Paul will be looking to redeem himself. Paul was lighting up the Warriors for 19.8 points per game before injuring his hamstring in Game 5. Before the injury, CP3 and the Rockets were leading the series 3-2. In the wake of Paul’s absence, Houston dropped the next to games and lost the series.
Golden State will be looking to prove itself as well. The Warriors have never been one to settle and are constantly trying to improve as a unit. Expect to see the Dubs come out at full strength in this game as they attempt to kill Houston’s pride.
