3. Oct. 16, 2018 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (TNT)

The first night of the regular season will be an interesting one. Any game in which the Warriors face off against Kevin Durant’s former team will be a full out battle. There is bad blood between these two teams. Oklahoma City is still seeking revenge for the way in Durant abandoned them.

To amplify things, the Dubs will be receiving their championship rings before the game. So, while Durant and the Warriors are putting on their rings, Russell Westbrook and his squad will be watching courtside. This is sure to set a fire under OKC as it gets ready to begin its own quest for a championship.

Watching the feud between Durant and Westbrook unfold will be great. We also get to watch two powerhouse teams get pinned against each other. The Warriors are obviously one of the best teams in the league and are heavy favorites to repeat as champions. Meanwhile, the Thunder are fully loaded and ready for another shot at a deep playoff run.

Both teams will be looking to make a statement on this night. It’s the first game of the season, so everyone will be a little rusty to start off. But once things begin to heat up, this should be a game to remember.
