The Memphis Grizzlies have made a number of subtle moves during the 2018 NBA offseason that should make the club better in the near future.

With franchise point guard Mike Conley expected to be healthy for training camp and Marc Gasol entering the last guaranteed year of his contract before receiving a player option for 2019-20, the Memphis Grizzlies have the makings of a team looking to get back into the playoffs this year.

The team entered the 2018 NBA offseason with limited flexibility, but a couple of savvy moves made by the front office has put them into full-blown retool mode rather than tearing things down and starting over.

As always, some transactions have been better than others, but, in fairness to the Grizzlies, there haven’t been any that really leave you scratching your head. Memphis has had a solid summer to this point in the process and appears to be in good position to compete in a loaded Western Conference.

Here is a look at each of the moves the franchise has made in the offseason.
