3. The Warriors will have only 3 All-Stars

The Warriors are so talented, it would be surprising if they had three or fewer players named to the All-Star team. This team is stacked to the ceiling with talent and it’s hard to believe any player in the starting lineup would be left off the All-Star roster.

Let’s start with the players that will 100 percent be appearing in the All-Star game. I think it’s safe to say that Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant are surefire picks.

DeMarcus Cousins is certainly capable of being an All-Star, but he will miss a large chunk of this upcoming season. Boogie suffered an Achilles injury that sidelined him for much of last season. This injury will continue to plague him in the 2018-19 NBA campaign and will halt any chance of him making the All-Star team.

As for Draymond Green, it has only grown more difficult for him to make it on the All-Star roster. Now that LeBron James is in the Western Conference, the starting lineup has pretty much been solidified. It is extremely unlikely any player gets more votes than James, Durant and New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis.

This means Green will be fighting for a reserve spot again. The former Defensive Player of the Year will compete with the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns, Paul George, Nikola Jokic and Rudy Gobert for one of the final roster spots. Furthermore, sleeper picks such as Julius Randle and Clint Capela could shake things up even more.

All of these players have much bigger roles with their teams and will have more chances to shine than Green. As a result, I believe Green will be watching the All-Star game from the sidelines this season.
