The Golden State Warriors are due for another legendary season. Here are three bold predictions for their upcoming 2018-19 campaign.

The 2018-19 NBA season should be yet another historic campaign for the Golden State Warriors. They were already the biggest powerhouse in the NBA, but the Dubs took the concept of forming a super-team to the next level by signing DeMarcus Cousins this summer.

The addition of Cousins will mean that the Warriors now have five All-Star caliber players on their team. Between Cousins, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, the Warriors are loaded. They have a combined total of three MVPs, 19 All-NBA selections and one Defensive Player of the Year award.

This results in extremely high expectations for the Warriors. It’s possible that we are looking at the greatest NBA team ever assembled. On paper, there has never been a team this loaded from top to bottom. Furthermore, a championship this season would make the Warriors only the fourth franchise to ever achieve a three-peat.

An obvious prediction for the Dubs is to say they will win the NBA title in 2019, but that’s not really an interesting take. In this article, we will make three bold predictions for this upcoming season. These predictions may be less likely than others, but they are more fun to discuss.
