Boston Celtics: Top 5 games to watch in 2018-19

With the schedule for the 2018-19 season now released, let’s take a look at the five must-watch contests for one of the Eastern Conference’s top contenders, the Boston Celtics.
The Boston Celtics are one of the more heralded sporting franchises in the world. With that status comes natural rivalries, and the Celtics have their fair share of enemies in that regard. With a changing of the guard in the Eastern Conference, the door has been opened for old rivalries to be renewed in what is sure to be compelling viewing.
With All-Stars Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward set to return from injury, the Celtics possess what will be one of the deepest, most talented rosters in the entire NBA.
With that in mind, they have drawn 27 nationally televised contests, with 12 on TNT, 10 on ESPN and five on ABC. They will open up the season, and also feature on both Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, solidifying their place in the top echelon for NBA schedulers.
With numerous storylines writing themselves before a ball has been tipped, it’s time to pick out five matchups from the 82-game slate that simply can not be missed.
