The NBA put out the regular season schedule for all 30 teams this past week. Here are some of the most exciting matchups for the Portland Trail Blazers in 2018-19.

The Portland Trail Blazers finished their season 49-33 last year, earning the third seed in the Western Conference. Unfortunately, they are coming off a disappointing end to the season in the playoffs after being swept by the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round.

This offseason has not been very eventful for the franchise either. The Blazers drafted two players, signed two free agents and won the NBA Summer League championship. This organization should be ready to move on to the future.

The NBA offseason is starting to slow down, and we begin to get closer to the beginning of the next regular season. The Blazers got their 82-game schedule last week, and it has given fans and media something to talk about.

After taking an in-depth look at the Portland schedule, here are some important things to note about the upcoming campaign:

  • The Blazers play in 13 national televised games, two more than last season. They will play eight games on ESPN and five on TNT.
  • Portland will travel the most miles in the NBA again this season at 54,333 miles.
  • The longest road trip is seven games, and the longest homestand is six games.
  • They play in 12 back-to-back games this season; they had to play in 15 last year
  • Portland will play New Orleans, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns only three times.

With all that in mind, here is a look at the five top games to watch out for during this Blazers season.
