1. Make the playoffs
It is no secret that Kevin Love has not been very successful at making the playoffs without the company of LeBron James. In his six attempts at making the playoffs as the leader of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Love has failed every time. As a result, many people have questioned his leadership skills.
If Love was looking for an opportunity to prove that he can lead a team into the playoffs, now is the time. We do not need to repeat why the Eastern Conference is weaker than ever, but there are a number of teams that are playoff-bound that would be lottery teams in the Western Conference.

Even though the rest of the squad is not particularly skilled, Love does have some sidekicks. Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. could all surprise their fans this year. Due to the absence of a heavily ball-dominant player, more players will get their chances this season, some of which will make it easier for Love to achieve his biggest goal.
