3. Take more than 18 shots and seven 3s per game

Back when he was still a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Love used to take approximately 18-19 shots per game, about five of which were from behind the arc. Those numbers took a dip when he joined the Cleveland Cavaliers, with his fellow stars taking most of the shots.

As a Cavalier, Love tends to spend most of his time at the 3-point line, patiently waiting for the opportunity to strike. Last season, 45.2 percent of his total shots were from behind the arc, something really peculiar compared to his Minnesota days when this percentage would be in the low 30s.

As the primary scoring option, Love will look to take more shots than ever and hope to be as productive as he was with the T-Wolves. Last year, he took 12.4 shots per game and 5.6 3-point attempts per game. This year, his goal should be 18 shots and seven 3s per game.

Kevin Love is still in his prime, despite what most people think. The offense will run through him as he prepares for what could be a breakout season.
