2. Win Rookie of the Year

Collin Sexton has the fourth-best odds to win the award, according to ESPN, and rightfully so.

Sexton separates himself from other guards for his more all-around game. Trae Young is a liability on defense and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has problems with his perimeter shooting, along with the fact that he won’t start right away.

Not to mention the Cavs are planning on making the playoffs. Many lottery picks like Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III and Mohamed Bamba won’t get as much attention with their teams likely to be out of the playoff race early.

Sexton should average around 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game on mid-40s shooting percentage from the field. How he performs on defense and in the clutch will be key in deciding if he is the Rookie of the Year.

How he performs against other rookies will be decisive as well, as those games gain national attention. How he performs against Young and Ayton are prime opportunities to set himself apart as the best rookie in the 2018 NBA Draft class.
