Chicago Bulls: 5 most intriguing games from 2018-19 NBA season
2. March 12, 2019: Bulls vs. Los Angeles Lakers
To say that LeBron James has played the role of spoiler against the Bulls during his 15-year reign in the Eastern Conference would be an understatement. In his two stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, his teams knocked the Bulls out the playoffs twice — 2010 and 2015.
During his four-year stint in South Beach, James and the Miami Heat ended the Bulls’ postseason runs in 2011 and again in 2013. On the heels of an impressive run of eight straight appearances in the NBA Finals, King James opted to take his talents to Hollywood to begin the next chapter of his storied career.
While the Lakers will more than likely emerge victorious in the King’s lone visit to the United Center, Bulls fans can certainly rest a bit easier knowing that the guy whose teams proved to be an insurmountable obstacle in postseason competition now resides in the Western Conference.
