5.  Feb. 7, 2019 — Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers (TNT)

No matter where the two teams are on the NBA food chain, meetings between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics are almost always special because of the history behind this storied rivalry. The same goes for any time LeBron James faces off against one of his greatest Eastern Conference foes.

Now, with Boston looking like the premier team in the East and King James joining L.A., that Celtics-Lakers rivalry has received a massive jolt of energy, injecting new life into it. We have to wait until February to see one of the West’s most intriguing teams face off against the East’s most promising, but it’ll be worth the wait.

On the famous parquet floor where LeBron has experienced some of the greatest triumphs and defeats of his career, there’s also the matchup between Kyrie Irving and James to consider.

Throw in the battle of youth between Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier and Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, and there’s a ton of entertainment value to be had across the board.
