Will Kristaps Porzingis make a Christmas miracle?

Ever since Kristaps Porzingis tore his ACL in early February, everyone has wanted to know when to expect a return to the court for the Unicorn.

So far, such a date is as unclear as ever, with his return likely to take place any time from December to February, but it could be delayed until the following season, according to owner James Dolan.

Considering that the New York Knicks are slated to host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, it sure would be nice to see KP duke it out on the court with the Greek Freak in a battle of two of the most unique talents the league has ever seen.

The odds of this occurrence are certainly unlikely, but both Porzingis and Giannis are two stars on the rise and are expected to dominate the league for years to come. Such a matchup would be must-see TV.

Without Porzingis in uniform, this matchup has little flair to it given the unproven talent on the Knicks, unless rookie Kevin Knox bursts onto the scene in the first few months of the season.

If Adam Silver and company care enough about ratings, they’ll be hoping Porzingis suits up for what would be his second career game on Christmas Day.
