Overall

The Utah Jazz re-signed all but two of their free agents, one of whom wasn’t going to receive much playing time next season anyway. They’re confident with the group they have now and they should be.

Joe Ingles shot 44.0 percent from 3-point land last season, tied for fourth in the league.

Rudy Gobert just won the Defensive Player of the Year award despite missing 26 regular season contests.

Donovan Mitchell made a legitimate case for Rookie of the Year and appears well on his way to being a part of Utah’s storied history. The list of accomplishments goes on and on.

The Jazz could regress next season, just like every team in the NBA can. They accomplished what they did last season with a point guard in his first season with the team, their best defensive player missing a quarter of a season and a rookie leading the scoring charge.

Guys like Dante Exum and Derrick Favors are solid NBA players, but it was a team effort. That’s what they’re about, that’s what they will be a part of in 2018-19, and that’s why the Jazz ultimately had a successful offseason.

Final Grade: B+
