3. MiKyle McIntosh

MiKyle McIntosh is a familiar name in the Pacific Northwest. The Canadian spent the 2017-18 season playing for the Oregon Ducks as a graduate transfer. McIntosh averaged 11.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game in his lone season in Eugene.

McIntosh went undrafted this summer, but subsequently joined the Blazers’ Summer League squad. Unfortunately, he couldn’t carve out much playing time in Vegas. He only made one field goal over 16 total minutes and five games.

Still, this doesn’t have to mean the end of his relationship with the Blazers. McIntosh is 6’7″ and sports a stout 240-pound frame. He is capable of holding his own when attacking the basket and rebounding, but he also has enough touch to step outside and occasionally to knock down a 3-pointer. His skill-set allows him to play either forward position.

MiKyle McIntosh didn’t shine at the Vegas Summer League, but he has the tools to become a useful 3 or 4 with some development time in the G League. Two-way contacts allow teams to take fliers on prospects long after training camp has ended. If they give MiKyle McIntosh a deal, they could end up unlocking a talented forward.
