Final grade

Steven Adams a bright spot for the OKC Thunder in a season that could be deemed as a disappointment. The Thunder were not able go deep in the playoffs with three superstars, but Adams had a year that he can build on.

He can be seen as a security blanket for Westbrook when his driving is not as effective or his shot is not falling. The lob is one of the deadliest weapons that the Thunder have in their arsenal to attack a defense, especially when Russ gets past that first line of defense and draws help defenders.

Adams is the best player on the Thunder in terms of hustling. For a team that had three superstars last year, OKC needed a player that could do the dirty work.

Adams could be relied on to clean up the boards (the Thunder were first in second chance points with 15.0 per game) and do the little things like execute stout pick-and-rolls to help the offense move and not stay stagnant.
