The Oklahoma City Thunder’s fourth option was Steven Adams this past year. He was able to become one of the most crucial parts of this OKC Thunder team.

Steven Adams has been one of the few recent bright spots in the draft for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Adams was drafted 12th overall in 2013 and he has gotten better each and every year.

Adams went from being a backup in his early years to eventually being the starting center and a player that you can just plug in at the 5-spot and let him do his damage to the opposition.

Before the last season started, I drew up some goals for Steven Adams in 2017-18, and one of them was averaging a double-double. He almost pulled it off, posting 13.9 points and 9.0 rebounds per game last year. That can be attributed to better post play.

Steven Adams was able to improve his game, especially when the Thunder needed a fourth option with a Big 3 that did not live up to expectations. Here’s a look back on his 2017-18 season with some player grades.
