1. Stephen Curry

Stats: 625 GP,  23.1 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 6.8 APG, 47.7 FG%

The greatest player in franchise history. Who would have thought that the scrawny 6’3″, 190-pound point guard would one day become an NBA legend?

Initially, Stephen Curry was known as a deadly shooter with some playmaking abilities. The league quickly learned how deadly of a shooter Curry was. It took him only four seasons to break the NBA’s record for most 3-pointers in a single season.

Since then, Curry has broken the record three more times. Not only did he break the record, but he completely shattered it. The original record was 269, made by Ray Allen in 2006. Curry blew Allen out of the water by knocking down 402 3-pointers in the 2015-16 NBA season.

Curry has shut down any conversations on who is the greatest shooter of all-time. It’s Curry and it’s not even close. No player in the history of the game has been able to shoot at the efficiency and volume of Curry. He has four of the five greatest shooting seasons ever and multiple other records. For example, Curry has the record for most 3-pointers in a regular season game, most in NBA Finals game, and the most in a single NBA postseason.

Curry has evolved into much more than a shooter. His ball-handling is on pace with the best in the league. His finishing ability makes him a threat to drive at any time. His court vision and playmaking keeps his team involved. Everything about Curry’s game is elite.

Curry’s impact on this franchise cannot go unnoticed. The Warriors have won three championships under his wing and look to win many more. His style of play has changed the NBA’s entire composition. Players and teams everywhere are trying to copy what makes Curry great. This is why he is ranked as No. 1 among the greatest Golden State Warriors of all time.
