10. Paul Arizin

Stats: 713 GP, 22.8 PPG, 8.6 APG, 42.1 FG%

Not many people know who Paul Arizin is, so let’s give a little background. Arizin was with the Philadelphia Warriors for 12 years, but he only played in 10 seasons. This is because he took a two-year leave as he took care of military duties as a member of the US Marine Corp.

Despite a shortened career, Arizin achieved more than enough to be remembered as a legend. In his 10-year career, he made the All-Star game every season and was a member of four All-NBA teams. Arizin led the league in scoring twice and was an NBA champion in the 1955-56 season.

As a rookie, Arizin averaged 17.2 points and 9.8 rebounds a game as he was selected to the All-Star game. His best season was his second year when he averaged 25.4 points and 11.3 rebounds a game. This made Arizin the NBA’s leading scorer and placed him in the top 10 for rebounds. He was selected to the All-NBA First Team and also won All-Star MVP honors as well.

Arizin finished third on the Warriors’ all-time scoring list and fifth for total rebounds. He is now enshrined in the Hall of Fame.
