15. Andre Iguodala

Stats: 345 GP, 7.6 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 3.4 APG, 48.3 FG%

Andre Iguodala is a player whose numbers won’t jump off the screen at you. His contributions are something that can’t be measured by normal statistics. Even his advanced metrics don’t do him justice.

It is the constant productivity off the bench from Iguodala that earns him a spot on this list. He was a part of the original “Death Lineup” the Warriors patented in the 2014-15 NBA season. This lineup was a form of small-ball with no true center on the court. The lineup consisted of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green.

At the time, this lineup seemed ludicrous. Playing this many undersized players was a recipe for disaster. Iggy and the Warriors ended this narrative quickly, largely due to the incredible defensive abilities of both Green and Iguodala. Their versatility allowed the Dubs to play a smaller lineup and kill teams on both ends of the floor. If it wasn’t for a strong defense, the Warriors’ offense would mean nothing.

Without Iguodala, the “Death Lineup” wouldn’t have existed. Furthermore, his performance in the 2015 NBA Finals won him the Finals MVP award and brought home Golden State’s first championship in over 40 years.
