The Golden State Warriors are beginning to become one of the most storied franchises in NBA history. Here are the 30 greatest players to play for the Dubs.
The Golden State Warriors have now won a total of six NBA championships. This means the Warriors have won the third-most championships in NBA history, tied with the Chicago Bulls and falling behind only the Boston Celtics (17) and the Los Angeles Lakers (16).
The Warriors are fresh off winning three titles in four years and are looking for a three-peat in the upcoming season. Considering the fact that the entirety of the Warriors core is under 30 years old, it’s likely this reign of dominance won’t end for quite some time.
Obviously, a franchise can’t reach this level of greatness without having an abundance of talent play for them. Since becoming an NBA team in 1946, a number of basketball legends have represented the Warriors. Today, we will rank the 30 best players to ever put on a Warriors uniform.
The criteria for this ranking will be simple. Players will be ranked not only on individual statistics, but also their impact on the franchise. We will be looking at how each player performed when playing for the Warriors. Any achievements the player accomplished outside of their time with the Dubs will not be counted. However, the context for a player’s full career will be provided in certain cases.
