After five consecutive losing seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers revamped their entire roster in hopes of making it back to the top of the NBA. Here are the grades for every offseason move the Lakers made.
The 2018 NBA offseason has been a busy one for the Los Angeles Lakers, as they welcomed eight new players into the fold, including their prized target, LeBron James.
Only seven players return from last season’s team, and head coach Luke Walton must now navigate through an entirely new-look roster.
The starting lineup is going to be different. The rotation is going to vary on a night-to-night basis. This season will feel like like watching a brand new Lakers team, with a few familiar faces sprinkled in.
While there’s been a lot of talk about adding Kawhi Leonard, Klay Thompson or another free agent in 2019 to help vault the Lakers into championship contention, James and his new teammates are focused on the year ahead.
