2. Show interest

It sounds simple, but there are way too many nights where the Kings just do not seem interested in winning.

How do you show interest in winning? For starters, you have to beat the teams you should beat. If you’re getting demolished by 40 against the Atlanta Hawks, it’s a clear sign that you don’t care about winning.

How about winning your home games? Especially when you have a dedicated fanbase like Sacramento, you should be winning your home games. Last season’s home record of 14-27 is not acceptable. The Kings must do better at home in 2018-19.

On back-to-back nights, the Kings must show some fight. Last season, it was almost a guarantee that Sacramento would lose on the second of a back-to-back. This time, the Kings must come into the season in better shape and be ready to handle back-to-back nights.
