3. Get some T’s

The Kings decided to solve the character issue by trading DeMarcus Cousins. They replaced Cousins with a bunch of high-moral guys and stopped worrying about anybody being ejected from a game.

The problem is that the new guys turned out to be too nice. They weren’t willing to speak up for themselves or their teammates.

In the new season, the young Kings must not back down from the refs or the likes of Draymond Green.

It’s okay to talk a little trash sometimes. It’s okay to get a technical foul sometimes just to set the refs straight or to fire up the team.

From watching the NBA for many years, it has been clear that the mind game is a big part of the process. Every team needs a big mouth or two who can mess with the opponent.

Harry Giles might be the leader in that department as he has already shown in NBA Summer League. It would help if some other guys can step up too.
