PF: LeBron James

He may play the point guard at times and perhaps play center for stretches, but there’s no question who the starting power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers is.

When LeBron James agreed to sign with the Lakers, he once again altered the NBA landscape. The Lakers, who have been irrelevant for the past five years, are once again the talk of the league.

Though the Lakers aren’t expected to go the distance this season, James all but solidifies a playoff appearance at the very least.

LeBron played in all 82 games last season for the first time in his career, and didn’t seem to show signs of slowing down. He probably won’t play in all 82 again this year, but no one knows how to preserve his body like the King.

The three-time NBA champion will look to add to his legacy, helping bring the purple and gold back to prominence and forever solidify himself in Lakers lore.
