No. 14: Luol Deng

Surprise, surprise: Along with Brandon Ingram, Luol Deng is the longest-tenured Laker.

While he only suited up for one game last year, the veteran forward remained on the roster the entire season.

If Deng remains with the team to start the season, don’t expect him to see much — if any — action. He was one of a few veteran voices in the locker room last season, but now the Lakers have stockpiled more experienced players.

There is always the possibility that James could resurrect Deng’s career. If anyone can make Deng relevant on the court again, it’s No. 23.
