Last season

In his first and only season as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Anthony played and started 78 games for the team. This was the most games played in a season for Anthony since he played 80 games for the Denver Nuggets in 2005-06. He played 32.1 minutes per game and averaged 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists a night.

The NBA’s league leader in scoring in 2012-13 had to accept a brand new role with the Thunder as the third option behind Russell Westbrook and Paul George. The result of this was a career-low in scoring output and a career-low in assists per game. One would think that decreased touches would mean more efficiency, but Anthony shot a career-low 40.4 percent from the field.

Anthony was a member of a Thunder team that fell way short of expectations, as they were knocked out of the first round of the playoffs in a six-game series with the Utah Jazz. Anthony averaged 11.8 points per game in the series while shooting a dreadful 21.8 percent from behind the 3-point line.
