Boston Celtics: Early bold predictions for 2018-19 NBA season

If these bold predictions all pan out for the Boston Celtics, fans of the league leader in titles will be very happy when the results of the 2018-19 NBA season.

Free agency and the 2018 NBA Draft are in the rearview mirror. Now, only a few months stand between the Boston Celtics and the beginning of their journey towards their 18th title. With the way the roster currently looks, it could be a big year for the Cs.

That early optimism was fuel for these bold predictions, which look to test the limits of logic — at least a bit. It’s hard to come up with something that seems out there for a loaded team like the Celtics without taking a trip to the crazy house. However, I think my predictions will more than satisfy any starry-eyed Boston fans with sky-high expectations.

As for the rest of you, just remember that these are meant more to stoke imagination and speculation than to be true predictions. Hence, the “bold” in the title. Don’t take it too seriously, because there’s a very good chance none of these come true. And yet, they still seem to offer some semblance of value as we slog our way through the dull days of the offseason.
