2. McLemore has returned with a shot at redemption

Kings fans will see a familiar face back in the purple and white next season, and his name is Ben McLemore. McLemore was taken with the seventh overall pick by the Kings in the 2013 NBA Draft.

The 25-year-old 2-guard, at one time known as the future star of the Kings franchise, will get another opportunity with his original team to try and finish what he set out to do prior to signing a multi-year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies last summer. Hopefully this time, there will be a more fulfilling outcome.

In his four-year stretch with the Kings, he averaged only 9.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Although it is pretty far-fetched to say that McLemore can still reach star potential, he may be capable of giving some very solid minutes as a role bench option next season. He will be absorbed into a congested shooting guard rotation that currently holds Bogdan Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield and Iman Shumpert.
