2. De’Aaron Fox

Now that George Hill is out of the picture, it looks like it’s time for De’Aaron Fox to take the keys. The 20-year-old played in one Summer League game earlier this month and showed that he is ready for the responsibility of being a starting point guard. In that one game, Fox was more aggressive and more vocal than he had been during his rookie season. If that carries over into next season, Fox will enjoy a much more successful second year.

Fans can also expect Fox to be much stronger than last season. That strength, along with his blazing speed, will make Fox one of the most dangerous guards in the league.

The timid rookie who was pushed around by stronger players is now history. Expect a much more aggressive Fox in the upcoming season. We might even see some chirpiness.

His biggest challenge as a rookie was the turnovers. With more confidence and a higher IQ in his second year, Fox should be able to fix the turnover the issue. The one thing should remain constant from Fox’s rookie season is his clutchness. Expect Fox to make many more big plays in the upcoming season.
