3. Shoot 40 percent from the floor

Standing at 6’11” with a wingspan of 7’2″ the Greek forward will have to learn to get buckets utilizing his strengths. One major strength is his height and lankiness he uses as an advantage over opposing defenders. Kostas will be likely play in garbage time minutes with the bench squad during his limited time in the NBA. Garbage time minutes are designed for prospects to get experience against opposing NBA talent.

Like his older brother Giannis in his rookie year, Kostas doesn’t have much of a jump shot to threaten the opposition into covering him deep. Nonetheless, the youngest “Greek Freak” is capable of is running the floor with great speed. He will be able to use his speed to get easy fast break points, which in turn will help his field goal efficiency.

Learning how to minimize his weaknesses as floor-spacer and utilizing what his strengths will garner trust in the eyes of bench boss, Rick Carlisle. The aforementioned size is another one of his strengths to go along his speed. He’ll tower over most defenders and can use his lengthy arms to grab offensive boards for put-backs. Both fast breaks and offensive rebounding are high efficiency plays, which will allow him to capitalize on two of his biggest strengths.
