2. More signings to come?

After signing Ferrell and Bjelica, the Kings still have about $11 million in cap space. They can still sign another player if they choose, but would have to trade or waive some players because there are currently 16 players on the roster.

David Nwaba is one free agent the Kings can still afford with their cap space. He was an restricted free agent, but the Chicago Bulls rescinded their qualifying offer and made him an unrestricted free agent.

Nwaba hasn’t been much of an offensive threat in his two years in the NBA, averaging 7.5 points per game.

However, the 25-year-old has built his reputation as a defender. Although the Kings are loaded at the shooting guard position, it wouldn’t hurt to have a player like Nwaba who can come in during key moments to get stops. The Kings, however, might just sit on their money for now and see what happens later.
