For nearly 15 years, Dwyane Wade has put together one of the best careers in the history of the NBA. He led the Miami Heat to their first NBA championship in 2006, in which he was named Finals MVP. Once LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined the team in 2010, the trio won back-to-back titles from 2012-13.
Wade has achieved legendary status in the NBA, and is a surefire first ballot Hall-of-Famer. However, at 36 years old, it’s clear his best days are behind him. His offensive numbers have steadily declined the last few years, and his 11.6 points per game last season was the lowest mark of his career.
Entering the offseason as a free agent in the decline of his career, the future of D-Wade is uncertain. Though it’s unlikely he receives big money offers, he does have several choices to consider. Let’s take a look at five options for Dwyane Wade.
