Even with the title of back-to-back champions, the Golden State Warriors still managed to steal headlines even in the offseason.

Heading into the 2018 offseason, the Golden State Warriors may have just captured their third title in four seasons, but that didn’t stop them from remaining relevant as the other 29 teams attempted to upgrade their roster in order to stop this Dubs dynasty.

Being the champions of the basketball world is fun enough on its own, but then Golden State went out and vastly improved on an already all-time great team, bringing in DeMarcus Cousins on a one-year deal.

For the last four seasons, every team outside the Bay Area has just wanted a sliver of hope that it could possibly contend for the ultimate prize.

With this latest showing of front office superiority, the Warriors have eliminated any confidence others may have garnered, seemingly putting an end to the suspense of this upcoming season — and training camp has yet to even begin.

There will be storylines and narratives to dissect once the players and coaches slowly file in from every corner of the earth in pursuit of a three-peat, but until then we can only marvel at what Golden State has been able to accomplish this offseason.
