Michael Beasley: 1 year, $3.5 million (Los Angeles Lakers)

The Los Angeles Lakers went out and signed LeBron James in the biggest move to really get 2018 NBA free agency started. Everything they’ve done since then has been bat-s**t insane and absolutely hilarious.

Yes, LeBron James played a role in recruiting Lance Stephenson and Rajon Rondo, and it’s safe to assume the King is signing off on any move the front office makes now. But any NBA team with LeBron, Born Ready, Rondo, JaVale McGee and Michael Beasley is bound for unintentional comedy, especially considering how often drama and locker room tension seeps into any LeBron roster.

Beasley had a good year last season, averaging 13.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in just 22.3 minutes per game. He even shot 50.7 percent from the floor and 39.5 percent from 3-point range.

But adding him to this hodgepodge of head cases is a bizarre decision, even for depth purposes. All we’re missing now is J.R. Smith and Nick Young, but at this point, the 2018-19 Lakers might be one of the most amusing rosters in NBA history.
