Daniel Hamilton: 1 year, $1.3 million (Atlanta Hawks)

Daniel Hamilton played a grand total of six games with the Oklahoma City Thunder last year, averaging a mere 2.0 points in his 4.7 minutes per game. Suffice it to say his performance in NBA Summer League is what earned him a look from the Atlanta Hawks.

In five appearances for OKC in Las Vegas, Hamilton posted a balanced 7.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game. He only shot 30 percent from the floor, but was active on the glass and proved his worth as a combo wing with how well he distributed the ball.

The Hawks’ wing rotation is fairly crowded, but if the 6’7″ Hamilton can continue to show such well-rounded production, he might stand a chance of carving out limited minutes on a rebuilding Atlanta squad.
