Fingers: Joe Dumars

Joe Dumars’ shooting touch earned him a plaque in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, six All-Star selections and three All-NBA nods during his 14-year career with the Pistons, plus a Finals MVP trophy in 1989.

That was the series in which Dumars lit up the “Showtime” Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 27.3 points per game in a four-game sweep on 57 percent shooting from the field as a 6’3″ shooting guard. And he did it without hitting a single 3-pointer.

Even though Dumars didn’t really add the 3-ball as a regular part of his arsenal until midway through his career, he is still No. 1 on the Pistons’ all-time list with 990 made 3s, exactly 100 more than Chauncey Billups.
