The Sacramento Kings have been disappointing in the 2018 NBA offseason so far, but these three options can turn it around.

Welcome to another offseason edition of the Sacramento Kings making moves nobody understands. In their latest inconceivable action, the Kings traded their best defender in Garrett Temple to the Memphis Grizzlies.

In return, the Kings brought back former Kings guard Ben McLemore along with center Deyonta Davis, a second-round pick in 2021 and fan favorite, cash considerations.

Other than this puzzling move, the Kings have not completed any sort of transaction since the free agency period opened. Sure, the Kings could have up to $20.5 million in cap space, but it’s anybody’s guess what they want do with it.

The only thing we know for sure is that the Kings tried to use their cap space on Zach LaVine, but the Chicago Bulls matched the offer and kept LaVine. The Kings have also watched helplessly as players such as Jabari Parker and Doug McDermott went elsewhere. Time is running out on Sacramento, but the following options are still available if this team is interested in making some kind of improvement before the season starts.
