With the Miami Heat currently in no man’s land as a franchise, here’s a look at the three most tradable players currently on their roster.

As a franchise, the Miami Heat are really stuck in no man’s land at the present time.

Despite coming off a 44-win season culminating in a first round playoff exit, the immediate outlook for the Heat is not overly bright.

Discounting the return of Dwyane Wade, the Heat had just one All-Star on the current roster following the selection of Goran Dragic last season. Thus far, the Heat have had a very uneventful offseason, with the biggest news to date being the re-signing of sharpshooter Wayne Ellington to a one-year deal.

With the team almost completely capped out from a financial standpoint, the Heat must look at their trade options moving forward. Currently, the two highest-paid players on the Heat roster are center Hassan Whiteside and backup guard Tyler Johnson. However, while each has a skill-set that would be attractive to a number of teams, their salaries over the coming two seasons certainly aren’t in line with their level of output.

Then there’s the likes of James Johnson and Dion Waiters, other rotation pieces on the roster who are owed $46 million and $36.3 million, respectively, over the next three seasons. While they are important players in their own right, teams aren’t exactly clamoring for their services.

However, with a number of other intriguing pieces, here are the three most tradable assets presently on the Heat roster that could be attached in a potential deal to unload unwanted salary.
